About PRHYME

Mike Otepka, Dan Peters, and Zak Olsen are PRHYME. The alt-rock trio first met in 1997 as freshman at Creighton Prep and played their first house show that year. Throughout their high school years, PRHYME rocked various stages around town, which included Ranch Bowl, Sokol Auditorium, and other high school functions, opening for rising local acts Grasshopper Takeover, Clever, and Turtle Moon, to name a few.
During their four-year run, PRHYME recorded and released a self-titled 11-track cassette of original material. After high school graduation, just as the band was hitting their stride, life happened and the band reluctantly parted ways.
Fast forward early 2023 when Mike received the original PRHYME cassette in the mail from a good friend. After converting it into a digital format, he shared it with Dan and Zak, who agreed a reunion was warranted. Memorial Day weekend united the band for their first rehearsals in nearly two decades. With vibes strong and skills sharpened, bring on the nostalgia and long live PRHYME.
